Intense aromas of ripe, blackberry fruits, liquorice appear first followed by prune-like notes with deep spicy plum pudding characters. As it opens, deeper blackberry mulberry fruits with anise evolve combined with an appealing lifted brandy spirit.
The palate is unctuous with the cumquat character coming through and layers of yellow peach, butterscotch and a hint of green apple. The finish has a touch of lemon acidity with a lingering orange rind character. This sweet wine can be served with dessert, cheeses, fresh fruit or dribbled over vanilla icecream.
