Due to poor weather during much of the growing season, this vintage should, by all rights, be best forgotten. And it is true that summer temperatures were cool, there were 100 mm of precipitation in August, ripening was very uneven, there were burst berries, etc. However, a miraculous and radical change in the weather propitious to botrytis turned what started out as a handicap to a decisive advantage. In fact, the variety and complexity of grapes brought in at different stages produced a fantastic wine.

Nice light yellow colour with green reflects. The nose is intense, fruity and floral. In the mouth, the wine is intense, fresh and with a long finish. Seductive and well-balanced wine.

Chateau des Quarts Pouilly Fuissé Clos Quarts 2020 is a white wine produced in the Mâconnais region of Burgundy, France. The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the Clos des Quarts vineyard, which is owned by the two of the most renowned winemakers in Burgundy: Dominique Lafon and Olivier Merlin. The vineyard is situated in a valley that provides protection from the wind and allows for the grapes to ripen fully.

On the nose, this wine has aromas of white flowers, citrus, and minerality. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant with flavors of lemon, peach, and a hint of vanilla from the oak aging. The acidity is well balanced, giving the wine a long and satisfying finish.

Clean pale yellow with hints of green and a nice brilliance. Aromas of crisp, ripe fruits and powerful, toasted bread, fresh almonds and hints of fresh butter. Lots of finesse, elegance, white flowers and some mineral. Long on the palate, rich and elegant at the time. Very nice, dense and concentrated, powerful with the beautiful complexity of the vintage. Ripe and crisp with a touch of exotic.

Light pale yellow colour with hints of green, nice and clear. Crisp and ripe aroma, citrus, apples and lemon, almonds and smoked hazelnuts. Hints of mineral and good freshness. Fresh and forward, nice richness to the mid-palate, very classic in its definition. Lots of ripe fruits, almonds, some delicate oak, and a light smokiness. Harmony: A complete wine with nice mineral and roundness. Good intensity, fresh with a nice volume.

The colour is a pale yellow and hints of green. Nice and clean. Aromas are intense ripe fruit, peaches, apple, citrus and white flowers. Fresh and mineral. The wine is rich, ripe, crisp and fresh. Very nice mineral towards the end.. Balanced and fresh, big in structure. Very impressive.

The 2021 Château Latour-Martillac opens with an attractive nose of fresh black fruits—blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry—accented by menthol and subtle spices from the Petit Verdot. The palate is silky and expressive, with vibrant fruit balanced by fine acidity and elegant tannins, leading to a complex, pleasantly long finish with spicy nuances.
