This 2015 Rabbit Ranch is a classic Central Otago Pinot Noir, vibrant and fruity with a soft tail.
From the Rising vineyard in St Andrews, a with a mix of clones including 114, 115 and MV6. A light cherry red, this has aromas of red cherry and strawberry fruit, a little white pepper and an earthy nuance. Medium bodied, with a solid core of fruit. Once the tannins (which are quite firm and solid at present) settle down and the wine opens up a little, this will look even better. - Philip Rich (Wine Companion)
