Dense dark red to black colour of great intensity. An intense and rich bouquet led by the ripest cassis and berry fruits, rich and opulent but brooding in its youth. Behind the primary fruits are distinctive vineyard characteristics of dark chocolate and mint. The oak is background cedar which will recede further as the fruits emerge with some bottle age.

Dark, deep purple in colour and has a brooding and perfumed bouquet. The palate is rich, layered and textured - really fills the mouth with its immense power and weight, but retains its finesse with long, soft integrated tannins. This wine will cellar and improve for 8 - 10 years, but equally appeals as an immediate drink.

Vibrant red/black colour with a deep opaque centre. The nose displays a complex blend of violets and spicy black pepper notes of the Shiraz with the more savoury licorice aromas from the Tempranillo. Shiraz and Tempranillo are wonderful partners; two old varieties coming together to make a new vibrant blend.

Vintage 2022 delivered warm days and cool nights, providing a long, slow maturation period. The result is a wine that is densely packed with rich, dark primary fruits and a palate that is sweet, supple and rounded. This wine is aged for a short period in a combination of French and American oak. This adds a spiced structural element that enhances complexity and interest.

In the glass, the Heirloom Alcala McLaren Vale Grenache 2021 shows a bright ruby color with purple hues. On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of red berries, cherries, and floral notes, with a hint of spice and oak. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a silky texture and a balanced acidity. The flavors of ripe red fruits are complemented by a touch of minerality and a long, smooth finish.

Heirloom Vineyards A'Lambra Barossa Shiraz 2021 is a full-bodied and robust red wine made from Shiraz grapes grown in the Barossa Valley wine region in South Australia. This wine offers an intense aroma of dark berries, chocolate, and spices, with a hint of vanilla and toasty oak. On the palate, the wine is rich and complex, with flavours of black cherry, blackberry, and plum, complemented by a subtle note of pepper and a long, lingering finish.

Heirloom Vineyards Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir 2022 is a premium wine crafted from handpicked grapes grown in the cool climate region of Adelaide Hills, South Australia. This wine showcases a beautiful ruby red color with aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and hints of spice. On the palate, the wine is elegant and refined with a silky texture, showcasing flavors of red fruits, subtle oak and delicate tannins.

Purple-velvet. Deep and dark; bright, and complete with a beautiful rim-edge mirroring the parallax of the universe. Fresh plums ever so ripe but plucked from the tree at dawn when you are still remembering the evening before. Mulberry from a tree nearby, blackberry from the dusty laneway; bay leaf, lavender, roses wild and nutmeg. Deep brooding aromatics that reveal little but yet say all. 

Black purple and very deep in colour. Vibrant. Classic tempranillo aromatics of black cherry, pepper, cherry pip, African Violets, cola nut, spearmint, and - of course - a 2B pencil's lead. Juicy yet dry, but then again tempranillo is a creature of split, multiple personalities. There are the fruity shiraz-like flavours of earth and plums; and the silkiness of texture and acidity more often associated with pinot noir. At each stage of the palate there is an interplay with fruit and acid and tannin, making this an ever-engaging red wine. The final highlight is the never-ending length of the wine.

Dark purple density, with flashes of vermillion, the rim edge shines like a brand new cricket ball. Kale and rose petal, cinnamon and nutmeg, liqueur chocolate and blackberry. This is an evenly matched tussle between fruit aromatics and winemaking bouquet, with the noble and just fruit winning. Savoury, spicy and sweet.
