The 2021 has elements of Alain Graillot's Crozes (peppery, fruit-forward Syrah) combined with warming, baked fruit and spice notes that transport the drinker to North Africa. You don't have to accompany it with a tagine, but your guests will probably appreciate it if you make the effort!
Very expressive and perfumed and made in pure juicy and early drinking style Cabernet Franc.
Very fresh and fine with lovely light texture and very little tannin this is a perfect wine for spring and summer and early drinking.
Super attractive and smashable.
Highly regarded as the greatest estate in Chambolle Musigny, particularly for this Grand Cru Vieille Vignes Pinot Noir. Incredibly rare.
Deep and sustained color. In the mouth, full, sweet and very fruity.
The tannins are dense and refined.
The whole is elegant and of high class! Beautiful potential!
A fresh, sweet and fruity attack on the palate evolves on an important tannic structure soft and of high quality with finesse.
The tannins are very elegant. They bring the wine in a superb finish, delicate and balanced with good acidity.
Intense black red color, very bright with pure and vibrant aromas of red and black fruit.
Large aromas of liquorice and minerals are also part of the bouquet.
In the mouth, the concentration, the power, the freshness and finesse are essential with great length - the tannins are very elegant.
Beautiful structure as well as fine and silky tannins and a long finish.
This deep red blend (70% Grenache, 30% Syrah) has an intense sophisticated nose, exhibiting black fruits, liquorice and spices. Ample and powerful with silky tannins and a long aromatic finish. No oak to show the purest expression of the fruit and terroir.
Harmonious and elegant wine with soft tannins, true to its terroir. Organic certified.
Grenache Noir: 65%, Cinsault: 5%, Mourvèdre: 15%, Syrah: 15%
A blend of Grenache (80%) and Syrah (20%) from wineyards just outside the boundary of Châteauneuf du Pape.
Ruby deep colour, this wine shows a fruity and spicy nose.
The palate is round, long and complex with abundant body and fruit as well as terrific purity and texture.
Dense and full bodied, rich and concentrated black plum, mulberries, tobacco and fresh leather with surprising polished tannins.
An expressive nose features nose of plum, black cherry and touches of spice and newly turned earth. There is slightly better vibrancy to the well-detailed and slightly more powerful flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the youthfully austere finish that is a bit more structured. This too is very good for its level. Drinking range: 2026 -Allen Meadows, Burghound (Jan 2023)
