After a warm and dry winter, spring 2016 was fresh and exceptionally wet. Slow vegetative development has gradually accelerated. The flowering could thus be done in a homogeneous way, without stress. With a comfortable productive potential, the rather dry summer has been extended in order to offer a nice concentration and a great maturity to this exceptional and unexpected vintage. The providential Indian summer of this year has offered us harvests of rare qualitative precision. Each terroir has been able to express its potential and aromatic complexity.

Medium bodied with hints of black cherry and licorice and an earthy tone.  This 2009 vintage is ready to enjoy 2020-25

The 2010 shows remarkable complexity, characteristic of this outstanding vintage. The wine opens up with aromas of perfectly ripe black fruits combined with notes of eucalyptus and dried herbs. The ageing aromas are discreet and elegant, just a subtle hint of vanilla. A pleasant minerality gives this vintage structure and purity. The palate is rich, powerful and concentrated with velvety smooth tannins. This solid, ripe and firm wine is worthy of its reputation. A distinctive vintage full of potential.

It offers up a succession of delicate aromas of plums, blackberries, liquorice and earthy notes on the nose. The wine is medium-bodied, silky tannin with well-balanced and excellent length on the finish.
 

The 2008 vintage is one of the great classics. The nose opens up with fresh notes of cedar and menthol combined with red berry aromas. Well-integrated oak lends this wine its delicate roasted notes and spice. After airing, ripe and intense fruits come through and confirm our expectations. The palate is smooth and pleasant with excellent tension. A delight to drink. 

The 2012 vintage catches the eye with its dazzling crimson hue and bright shine. It offers a delicate nose and velvety texture on the palate. Red and black fruits blend elegantly and give one the impression of biting into a handful of fresh cherries, blackberries and strawberries.
