The 2021 Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc displays intense lifted aromas of blackcurrant, guava, ripe grapefruit and a hint of smoky flint. The palate introduces delightful citrus based mouth-watering intensity and finishes with a strong textural component.
The 2020 Nautilus Chardonnay is straw coloured with a lifted nose of ripe apricots, brioche and toasted hazelnuts with a hint of flinty complexity. The palate displays stone fruits and honeysuckle along with a nutty complexity from the natural ferments. The palate has good depth and concentration with a refreshingly long finish. This wine has a tight mineral structure and will develop a creamy texture as it matures.
The nose displays delicate aromas of Granny Smith apples with a hint of capers, fennel and a touch of white pepper and spice. The palate is succulent with a pithy texture and distinctive chalky acidity. The finish is persistent with honeydew melon notes and mixed spices. The wine will develop a more oily texture with time.
This 2022 vintage Nautilus Pinot Gris is pale straw in colour, with vibrant aromas of fresh pears, quince paste, honeysuckle, lime zest and delicate hints of spice. The medium-bodied palate shows concentrated fruit flavours, bright acidity and a deliciously dry finish.
