Deep plum with a bright rim. The deep plum notes of ripe, primary shiraz fruit, opening to sweet, subdued florals and pepperberry. Broody, dark fruits and savoury flavour are encased in a rustic frame of gravelly, spicy tannin.
Deep claret with a bright red rim. Beautifully fragrant with red currant and mulberry fruits. Varietal tobacco leaf, cassis and choc mint are complimented by fresh cedar notes. An intense palate of cabernet fruits, delicious, mouth-watering acidity and purposefully firm, structured tannins make it clear that this is a wine with the presence and style to age into the next decade.
Deep black plum at the core with a pure, mulberry hued rim. Plums and blackberries at the fore with mulberry, five spice and pepper. The gentle influence of creamy, vanillin oak amplifies the deep, ripe berry fruit. A generous and fruit-forward palate, loaded with plums, cassis and milk chocolate. Rich fruits are laced with vanilla bean, cedar and graphite, finishing with fine, powdery tannins.
Brooding purple and black at the centre, the wine stays remarkably dark before hitting a clean scarlet edge. Layers of dark plum, mulberry and liquorice are seasoned with cedar, cinnamon, and toasted oak spice. Earthy, fruitful, and rich, the bouquet is generous and complex. While the vineyard fruit shows its own natural and highly individual shape, the palate remains completely serious in structure and style.

An average of 20% whole-bunch across multiple parcels. Some wines racked early, while others remain on lees until the last minute. After blending, there's a further month of maturation on light lees in reorganised oak before racking and bottling in-house, with no filtration.
