The Brut Vintage 2015 displays a lovely golden hue with silver highlights. The subtle first nose opens with notes of fleshy ethereal hints of rose petals. Expressive and full of freshness, the bouquet is reminiscent of patisserie, pastries and dried nuts. It then evolves to reveal aromas of honey and apple jelly. The palate is round and elegant. A slight zesty quality sets off the notes of brioche, patisserie and toast, combined with liquorice and dried nuts. The silky texture is accompanied by a lovely lingering acidity right through to the finish. The 2015 vintage brings us a warm and very fine champagne.

With its splendid intense golden hue and lovely bright tints, this wine is captivating to the eye. After breathing, a few hints of vanilla and candied fruit come through to complete a well-developed bouquet. On entry to the palate, the wine is well balanced and underpinned by a hint of citrus fruit, confirming the intense freshness found on the first nose. It then shows itself to be enchanting and luscious, revealing notes of zesty citrus fruit, quince and green tea, magnified by deliciously elegant bubbles, characteristic of this wine of power and character. The high proportion of Pinot Noir in the blend lends the wine structure and length as well as a perfect balance of generosity and elegance. The Sir Winston Churchill 2013 is a veritable symphony of sensations.

If there were ever a wine made for summer, we’re sure this Pinot Grigio would be the one. With crisp notes of key lime tart, pink Himalayan sea salt and honeydew melon on the nose, this fresh white wine is easy-drinking with nuances of poached white fruit. A fabulously delicious wine to pair with any seafood dish or to simply enjoy on its own during those warm summer nights.
